Have you watched the movie Kung Fu Panda? The Panda, Po, worries too much about his past because he doesn’t know anything about Kung Fu and he doesn’t seem to be a good learner. He also doubts about his future if he can become excellence in Kung Fu. His master then says this meaningful quote:
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present.”
Below are 4 ways to gradually get motivated today without causing chaos in your day-to-day life.
Let it go:
Sooner or later, we have all got to let go of our past. Whether you choose to move on and take a chance in the unknown. Or stay behind, locked in the past, thinking of what could've been.Always remember this; your past does not equal your future. Whatever has happened, you can’t change it and more importantly, never let your past determine your future.
Focus On Your Present:
Your present moment or the now is the most important in your life. If you want to have a better future and live a successful life, you must work on your now; your present moment. It is this moment you are in right now that will determine your future, not three years from now or someday down the road. Your future is shaped and determined by what you do today. So it is time to get motivated today!
Dream and Imagine:
The world is your canvas for your imagination. You are the artist. There are no rules!.. Get to work!. Imagination is your life's best coming attractions. When you imagine yourself achieving the results you want, you will feel motivated almost instantly.
Think about all the celebrities you don’t like or don’t care about: Kim Kardashian has no business being famous, Justin Bieber is overrated, LeBron James is no Michael Jordan. Regardless of how you feel about any of these people, they have successful careers.
People aren’t always going to like what you do; there’s Haterade in the water everywhere. If I stopped and stressed out every time someone didn’t like my decisions, I’d never have accomplished anything in life. Don’t stress the haters.
Embrace your haters, so that down the road, you can say “I told ya so.”
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Simply put, Life is to short to worry about stupid things. Have fun. Fall in Love. Regret nothing and do not let people bring you down.
The secret ingredient for a free and beautiful life as is,
